Virginia Toll Jumpers: Are You Ready For Your Close-Up?
In Virginia, the government can’t use cameras to take pictures of red light runners. That’s Big Brotherism, according to the General Assembly. But apparently it’s okay to use cameras to catch toll jumpers. Beltway Bedecked With Roadside Debris
This morning on the Inner Loop, just across the American Legion bridge, I saw the following items on the left shoulder for the second day in a row: a bright pink upholstered chair, a decaying deer carcass, and a mission-style headboard. I’m guessing that everything except the deer fell off of the same truck sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. I wonder how long it will take for this collection to disappear?
